Booking a speaker based in the United States: FAQs

How much does it cost to book a keynote speaker based in the United States?

In-person fees for the United States speakers we represent range from about $4,000 to $300,000, depending on the speaker, date, format and program length. Booking a local speaker usually lowers travel costs, since there are no flights and often no hotel.

Why book a speaker who lives in the United States?

A local speaker cuts travel cost and risk. There are no flight delays to plan around, scheduling is more flexible, and it is easier to add a pre-event dinner, a sound check or time with VIP guests.

Can these speakers present virtually or travel to my event?

Yes. Most of the speakers here also deliver live virtual keynotes, and they travel for events outside the area. Where a speaker is based only changes the travel cost for events nearby.

How far in advance should we book a speaker?

As early as possible. In-demand speakers commit to dates months ahead, and booking early gives you more choice. Because local speakers do not need to travel, one can sometimes fill a late opening, so ask even if your event is close.
