As a sports journalist, Leslie Maxie was a perceptive and confident interviewer and many networks took notice. Eventually, she landed a spot as one of the hosts of the talk-show “Cold Pizza” on ESPN. Soon after this, Maxie transitioned to freelancing for the network. Eventually, Leslie started her own production company, LeMax Productions LLC, in 2005.

Integrate the “Olympic Mindset” into Your Company’s Culture
Excellence isn’t going to fall out of the sky and hit you in the head. In this keynote, U.S. Olympian Leslie Maxie demonstrates how to identify and achieve excellence consistently. Audiences will reflect on the different forms of excellence and how they already achieve excellence individually. Then, through Leslie Maxie’s Olympic Mindset, they will develop strategies for maintaining excellence and forming stronger bonds of trust and collaboration.
Surviving the unprecedented generational age gap
Maxie speaks on how modern business people tackle ageism, both within the workplace and within themselves. In today’s workforce we have an unprecedented level of generational variety, and with this new trend comes new problems. Sometimes it’s the young intern who is not being taken seriously or excluding the older person from an activity. Additionally, there is a startling trend of older employees being unfairly laid off in comparison to newer, younger employees. In 2022, Leslie gave this speech at the Women in Retail Leadership summit.
Promoting gender diversity
A self-made entrepreneur, Leslie has consistently risen to the top of the male-dominated business world. This is the subject of one of her most in-demand keynotes, empowering women in the workplace. This is one of Leslie’s most popular speaking topics, and in 2022 she delivered this keynote to the Mississippi BAR Association.
