After graduating from North Carolina A&T, where he was defensive tackle and team captain for a conference championship team, Brad Holmes began his career as a public relations intern. However, his true passion started when he joined the St. Louis Rams in 2003. Over the next 18 years, he rose through the ranks to become Director of College Scouting, helping build the foundation for a Super Bowl team and playing a key role in drafting stars like Aaron Donald and Cooper Kupp.
In 2021, Holmes took over as GM of the Detroit Lions and immediately began reshaping the franchise. With a collaborative approach alongside Head Coach Dan Campbell, Holmes rebuilt the roster with tough, passionate, high-character players.
