Gil Baram completed her doctoral studies within the excellence program of the School of Political Science, Government and International Relations at Tel Aviv University. Additionally, she holds an M.A. in Security Studies from Tel Aviv University.
Dr. Baram conducts research that encompasses various aspects of cyber warfare and covert actions. These aspects include the impact of technology on national security, cyber and national security, and the role of Intelligence agencies in cyber attacks.
Previously, she served as the Head of Cyber & Space research group at the Yuval Ne’eman Workshop for Science, Technology and Security. She is also a research fellow at the Blavatnik Interdisciplinary Cyber Research Center (ICRC), both at Tel Aviv University. Furthermore, Dr. Baram has held cyber intelligence positions within Israel’s National Information Security Authority.
