The primary purpose of the Immaculate Heart of Mary Athletic Association is
to provide a safe athletic environment to IHM Parishioners, as well as non-affiliated members of the local community seeking participation in CYM sports. Given the interest in a sport, we provide coaches, uniforms and the ability to register a team in a competitive league in New Castle County.  We have over 500 athletes that participate in any given year.  All of our coaches undergo background screening, on-line coaches training and must register with CYM in order to obtain a ‘safe coach’ badge before becoming a coach.  Our mission is to provide an athletic experience that is both enjoyable to the children , as well as a spiritual experience which they achieve through team unity and prayer.

Immaculate Heart of Mary is blessed with competitive athletes and a talented staff.
Volunteers are always needed to fulfill the mission of running a sports program, and
provide an opportunity for young minds to grow and learn responsibility, respect and
dedication.
