How to Moderate a Keynote Q&A

The emcee usually moderates the Q&A after a keynote. They need to take the floor after the speaker finishes, explain how questions will work, keep the exchange moving and end it on time. Choose that person and agree on the Q&A format before the event. A few prepared questions help, but the moderator also needs to know how to handle the room once the conversation is live.

Confirm the Moderator and Q&A Plan

Tell the Mollie Plotkin Group who will moderate, how attendees will ask questions and how long the Q&A is scheduled to run. Share any topics the moderator needs to review with the speaker before the event.
