Dhani was drafted by the New York Giants in the sixth round of the 2000 NFL Draft. He played with the Giants for 3 seasons before signing with the Philadelphia Eagles. In 2007, Dhani signed with the Cincinnati Bengals, where he had the most productive 4-year span in his career. Ultimately, Dhani would play his final season in 2010 with the Bengals.

Following his successful NFL career, Dhani started his next career – entertainment. He started with the Travel Channel as the star of Dhani Tackles the Globe. The show followed Dhani learning how to play international sports unbeknownst to most Americans.
