Yossi Sheffi is a global expert in systems optimization, risk analysis, and supply chain management. He is the Director of the MIT Center for Transportation & Logistics and Director and Founder of the Master of Engineering in Logistics Program and was awarded the Distinguished Service Award from the Council of Supply Chain Management Professionals.

Outside of academia, Dr. Sheffi has consulted with governments and leading enterprises in manufacturing, retail and transportation all over the world.
