And when life gets really hard, I start writing my script
for the situation I’m in right now.
What’s the best way this could turn out for my business,
my family, for me personally,
and 90% of my decisions goes
to the script I just wrote in my head.
That moment in time will either define you or refine you.

I lost my mom and my dad.
So all of a sudden, my sister
and I, we go into temporary foster care for about a year
and we go through the most intense therapy
you could possibly imagine.
I had three goals in therapy, just three.
And I have kept these my entire life
since I was 13 years old.
Come to terms of your reality.
Find forgiveness in people and in the world.
And when a little piece of hope
or a little piece of happiness floats by you, you grab
that puppy and you never let go.
