Biography

From Adversity to Opportunity

Raised on the South Side of Chicago in a community shaped by poverty, crime, and housing instability, Rashaun Williams developed an early drive to understand wealth and create change. He earned more than 100 scholarships and graduated summa cum laude. These early experiences shaped his commitment to financial empowerment and expanding access to opportunity.

Investing, Leadership, and Impact

Rashaun began his career on Wall Street with Goldman Sachs, later joining Wachovia where he became the youngest Vice President at age 23, and then Deutsche Bank. He went on to co-found Queensbridge Venture Partners, backing companies including Robinhood, Coinbase, Lyft, Dropbox, Ring, Casper, and PillPack. He now leads Value Investment Group and the MVP All-Star Fund.

He also founded Dixsville Partners, a private equity firm focused on West African infrastructure and minerals, and Antimatter Business Partners, which supports athletes and entertainers in building private equity family offices. In 2001, he launched the Kemet Institute to provide free financial education to underserved youth.

Rashaun currently serves on the boards of Fisk University and The Atlanta Opera. Across investing, education, and ownership, he continues to turn obstacles into opportunity for both individuals and communities.
