After studying experimental theater at New York University Michael showcased his brand of hidden-camera magic frequently on The Tonight Show with Jay Leno. Following these late-night appearances, Michael was presented with the opportunity to launch The Carbonaro Effect. To date, the show has run for over 100 episodes on truTV.

Michael’s extensive list of accolades includes the “OUTFEST Best Actor” award as well as the Academy of Magical Arts 2015 “Magician of the Year” honor. In 2016, he was the inaugural recipient of the Copperfield Prize, which recognizes an individual for elevating the art of magic.
