Biography

From Disney Pixar to Business Storytelling

Matthew Luhn spent three decades at Disney and Pixar, contributing to and helping shape films such as Toy Story, Toy Story 2, Toy Story 3, Monsters Inc., Finding Nemo, Cars, Up, and Ratatouille. Over time, he grew from animator to a key contributor in Pixar’s story development process, eventually taking on a leadership role guiding storytelling across major projects.

His career began early, leaving art school at 19 to work on The Simpsons before being recruited to Pixar. There, he worked closely within one of the most respected creative environments in the world, collaborating on films that defined modern animation.

After his film career, Matthew transitioned into working with businesses that wanted to strengthen their communication and brand storytelling. He is the author of The Best Story Wins and has advised companies including Charles Schwab and Adidas.
