Hugh Douglas was drafted in the first-round of the 1995 NFL Draft by the New York Jets. During his rookie season he had 10 sacks, earning Defensive Rookie of the Year honors. However, after 3 seasons, he was traded to the Eagles where he truly found his stride. During his 6 seasons with the Eagles he accumulated 54.5 sacks placing him 4th all-time on the Eagles’ franchise leaderboard. During that same time, he also earned 2 All-Pro nominations and 3 Pro Bowl selections with the Eagles. In 2022, the Eagles Hall of Fame inducted Hugh into its ranks.
Following his career in football, Hugh joined ESPN in 2011 as an NFL studio analyst. He’s appeared on primetime shows like SportsCenter, NFL Live, and First Take. In 2012, he joined ESPN2’s Numbers Never Lie as a full-time analyst. Today, Hugh has returned to Philadelphia. Currently, he is the co-host of the Midday Show with Joe Giglio on 94.1 WIP.
