Mitchell is famous for his part in the “4th and 26” play against the Green Bay Packers in the 2003-04 NFC Divisional Playoff Game. Before the drive, he noticed that the “defensive coordinator was going into a prevent defense and leaving holes.” In turn, he relayed the information to coach Andy Reid. Then during the drive, Mitchell told wide receivers coach David Culley: “This is what you need to run, and it’s wide open. Just let me find the hole.” Mitchell exploited the defense and caught a 28-yard pass from Donovan McNabb to help lead the team to a win in overtime.
