Biography

From San Marcos to BYU Stardom

Born in San Marcos, California, Fred Warner learned the meaning of hard work early. Raised by a single mother, Laura, Fred credits her with instilling in him the values of consistency, sacrifice, and perseverance. After a youth spent balancing academics and athletics, Fred earned a scholarship to Brigham Young University.

At BYU, Fred became a standout defender, racking up 264 tackles, 32 tackles for loss, and 7 interceptions—second-most all-time by a linebacker at the school. A three-year starter, team captain, and locker room leader, he quickly proved he was more than just a stat machine—he was a student of the game with pro-level instincts.

Becoming “All-Pro Fred”

Drafted by the San Francisco 49ers in 2018, Warner didn’t just adapt to the NFL—he elevated it. He became the first rookie in nearly two decades to record 10+ tackles in four consecutive games and hasn’t looked back since.

Now a four-time First-Team All-Pro and four-time Pro Bowler, Warner has led the 49ers in tackles every season of his career. General Manager John Lynch calls him “the kind of captain a defense feeds off.” Teammates simply call him “All-Pro Fred.”

Warner’s game combines sideline-to-sideline range with elite coverage skills—he’s one of the rare linebackers who can stuff a run at the line of scrimmage and cover top receivers over the middle. In fact, he’s the fastest 49ers linebacker to reach 10+ career sacks and 10+ career interceptions. His consistency is equally unmatched: starting every game since entering the league. Recently in May of 2025, Warner became the highest paid linebacker in the NFL for the second time in his career.

Leading with Purpose

Off the field, Fred Warner is as steady as he is on it. A new father and devoted husband, Fred is known for his character, faith, and leadership within the NFL community. He is a vocal participant in the league’s social initiatives and regularly engages in causes close to his heart—including cancer research, which he supports in memory of his late grandmother.

Fred has been honored with both the Len Eshmont Award – voted by teammates for inspirational play – and the Bill Walsh Award – given by coaches for excellence. Whether it’s mentoring rookies, sharing his expertise in fireside chats, or walking the runway at fashion fundraisers, Warner’s presence is felt far beyond the gridiron.

Leadership Without a Title – How to Influence Your Team from Within

Fred Warner wasn’t always a captain—but he’s always been a leader. This discussion explores what it means to lead from within a team, especially in high-performance environments where hierarchy, ego, and pressure are constant factors. Fred shares how he earned trust in the locker room through action over words, how he learned to hold teammates accountable while elevating morale, and why true leadership is about service—not status. Attendees will walk away with a deeper understanding of how to develop influence, regardless of title or role.

Performing Under Pressure – Lessons from the NFL’s Biggest Stages

What does it take to remain locked in while 70,000 fans scream, millions watch, and one mistake could end your season? In this deeply personal session, Fred pulls back the curtain on what it takes to perform at your best when the stakes are highest. Drawing from playoff games, Super Bowl appearances, and game-deciding moments, Fred discusses mental preparation, in-game adaptation, and how he channels nerves into focus. Attendees will gain tangible insights on managing anxiety, building confidence, and trusting their preparation when it matters most.

Resilience and Routine – The Habits Behind Sustained Excellence

Fred Warner has never missed a game in his NFL career—not because he’s lucky, but because he’s intentional. This session explores the behind-the-scenes work required to maintain elite performance over time: the routines, sacrifices, mindset shifts, and recovery strategies that keep him durable, focused, and growing each year. Fred unpacks how resilience is a skill, not a trait, and how small daily disciplines compound into long-term greatness. This topic is perfect for high-performing teams or individuals aiming to avoid burnout and build sustainable momentum.

Culture, Accountability, and Team Chemistry

Every championship-caliber team has one thing in common: culture. In this session, Fred shares what makes the 49ers locker room unique—and how that culture is built, protected, and enforced every day. He dives into real examples of how accountability is upheld among players, how trust is earned through consistency, and how teammates become family. Fatherhood, Faith, and Balance Beyond Football

Known for his intensity on the field, Fred Warner is equally grounded by what happens off it. In this heartfelt conversation, he reflects on his upbringing, his family’s sacrifices, and how faith and fatherhood shape his identity as a man—not just a player. Fred talks openly about the challenges of balancing public life with private purpose, the lessons he wants to pass down to his son, and how his values guide his professional choices. This topic resonates with audiences seeking authenticity, personal growth, and work-life clarity.
