Dan Meers began his mascot career in 1986 at the University of Missouri-Columbia as Truman Tiger. He quickly established himself as one of the top college mascots in the nation and was selected as the nation’s #1 college mascot at the 1989 National Collegiate Mascot Championships.
After graduating with honors, Dan moved into professional sports entertainment, first performing as Fredbird for the St. Louis Cardinals before transitioning into professional football as KC Wolf for the Kansas City Chiefs.
