Karen Phelps Moyer is the founder of the Moyer Foundation, a philanthropic group that was the subject of the Emmy-award-winning documentary “One Last Hug: Three Days at Grief Camp” with 120 camps nationwide. Moyer’s life goal is to compassionately motivate and inspire others who are navigating adversity and grief. She is a powerful keynote speaker that specializes in employee wellness, with a focus in women’s empowerment.
Moyer’s eponymous foundation is nowhere near the extent of her philanthropic ventures, as she is the founder of the National Action Alliance for Suicide Prevention and Sisters in Sports. She got her journalism start with the dream of being a sports reporter in the 1980s, a dream she did fulfill while reporting for ABC after completing her undergrad at the University of Notre Dame.
Having been passionately following sports for years, and the wife of a legendary MLB picture, she knows how to combine teamwork with motivation in her keynote speeches. Using her skills, she has become a brand expert and developed her own life coaching program, Good Morning Gorgeous. As a role model for women in entrepreneurship, she is the ideal keynote speaker for any organization that values its diversity.
